TECH WON TEXAS LOST!!! WOW!! :)

We just got home from watching the Texas Tech/Texas game. Wow! It was amazing. So many key plays and when the clock was about to run out...and it looked like Texas would win...Tech scored an amazing touchdown. Texas was knocked off their high horse!! Wow!! A&M won today too! I miss the days when they had this kind of excitement. I know it was possible - they won the Big 12 when I was there! We watched the game with a couple of John's buddies that are Texas fans - how the moods shifted from John being sullen and pouty to them being sullen and pouty - all within just a few minutes....:) It was fun I have to admit!

Dual Loyalties

Normally - our house is divided on Football Saturdays.... John is a Red Raider (Texas Tech) and I of course am an Aggie (Texas A&M) (though it would be much more fun if the Aggies could get their football program to be a little more competitive....)

But today....we are all on the same team hoping that Tech beats the everloving stuffing out of University of Texas.

Just realized that I wrote about the Cowboys but not my beloved Aggies... They won their game this weekend!! Yay!! Let's hope that they have a banner year and show all those nay-sayers that the Aggies are yet again a force to be reckoned with!!! GIG EM AGS!!! :)

Yes, I have become a Cowboys fan. What can I say? If ya can't beat em, join em! :) Marrying a sports enthusiast might be beginning to rub off on me a little bit. Shhhh...don't tell ;-) That being said - LET'S PLAY SOME FOOTBALL!!!

Fantasy Football Draft Time

It's Fantasy Football time! J0hn picked Romo. That's the only one so far that I have any interest in. I'm still learning to be a football fan. :) Got the new Cowboys hat and ready for the season. The draft is on hold until later this afternoon so we can actually leave now to go focus on finishing up my place!! Hopefully I'll be making a phone call to Susie on Monday to get this thing listed!!! Dad reminded me that I put a contract on the condo after it had only been listed for 2 hours - so hopefully I will have the same result!! It looks really nice...and we are leaving enough stuff there to stage it so it doesn't so much look like a bare house. I'm so over doing this every weekend and I need the money from the sale!! Pray it comes fast! Ok - we are outta here!!
